I arrived in New York in the late 1990s and secured a job as a display artist at Tower Records — designing, illustrating, and crafting displays by hand at a traditional studio in downtown NYC. Although the process has long been replaced by a digital one, that hands-on experience set a creative spark that I've maintained through a career in graphic design, illustration, and video production. I continue to seek new opportunities in all three occupations and especially appreciate it when they come together.
